Kit
Tate was born in Rutland, B.C., near Kelowna. She graduated from
high school in Armstrong. Kit then trained as a registered nurse
in Kamloops.
Kit has done many crafts over the years and sewed her own clothes as
well as those of her children. She makes beautiful sweater
designs with applique on sweatshirts.
Kit first dabbled in watercolours in 1994 and then became more serious
about painting in 1997. Kit is a member of the Sandbridge Painting Group, with whom she
paints weekly from October until April when she isn't off on a world
adventure.
